Milestone reflects Company’s long-term commitment to strengthening local communities through infrastructure-focused nonprofit support
Link Logistics (the “Company”), a leading operator of last-mile industrial real estate and warehouse properties, today announced it has invested more than $10 million through its employee-led Community Grants Program since launching the initiative in 2022. This milestone underscores the Company’s commitment to supporting local organizations and strengthening the communities where it operates.
The Community Grants Program is powered by Link Logistics employees who submit grant recommendations, which are evaluated by the Company’s leadership team based on alignment with the Program’s focus areas of hunger relief, educational access and hyperlocal needs.
“We understand that the strength of our business is connected to the strength of the communities we serve,” said Luke J. Petherbridge, chief executive officer, Link Logistics. “Reaching this $10 million milestone reflects our commitment to making meaningful, long-term investments that help local organizations strengthen the support they provide to people in need.”
Grant funding supports investments that can significantly increase an organization’s capacity and effectiveness. Examples include refrigerated vehicles that expand food distribution efforts, facility improvements, technology upgrades, educational training tools and specialized equipment. These investments help nonprofits scale their operations, improve efficiency and reach more people in need.
“What makes the Link Logistics Community Grants Program unique is its focus on strengthening the infrastructure that helps nonprofits deliver on their missions every day,” said Grace Beaudin, senior vice president, Development Strategy & Community Partnerships, Link Logistics. “We remain committed to investing in the people, organizations and infrastructure that help communities adapt, thrive and respond to evolving needs.”
Since its inception, the Community Grants Program has supported more than 70 organizations across North America, helping them strengthen critical infrastructure and expand the services they provide in local communities.
