-- SongFlip, an open-source music link redirection application, has launched with support for automatic conversion of shared music links across eight streaming platforms. The tool enables users to open music links from messaging services and social media directly in their preferred music player without manual searching or intermediate browser steps.

The application supports Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, Amazon Music, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, and Shazam links. When a user receives a music link through WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, or email, SongFlip automatically converts the link and launches it in the user's selected streaming service. The Android version operates with zero-click redirection, while the iOS version requires a single tap.

Offline Resilience & Intelligent Queuing

With its latest update, SongFlip introduces connection buffering for unstable network conditions. If a user taps a link while underground or in an elevator with poor cellular reception, the application queues the request and automatically opens the converted track the moment connectivity is restored.

Free Core with Optional Pro Power Features

The core redirection engine is completely free and operates without advertisements, user accounts, or telemetry under the GPLv3 license. For power users seeking extended functionality, SongFlip PRO (available via lifetime unlock or annual subscription) adds:

  • Full cross-platform playlist conversion beyond the initial preview.
  • Extended 100-song conversion history.
  • High-speed L2 Cloud Caching (< 50ms latency).
  • Universal Smart Web Links (songflip.link) to share tracks with friends on any streaming service.

The app features seamless system theme integration with dark mode and dynamic colors, native localization in 31 languages, and convenient quick-pause controls to temporarily suspend redirection whenever needed.

The application was recently featured by Android Authority, which highlighted its ability to solve music link fragmentation seamlessly across ecosystems.

Availability

SongFlip is available for free download on the Google Play Store, with the iOS version available in public beta on Apple TestFlight. The complete source code and documentation are hosted on GitHub.

Live Interactive Demo

Users and press members can test the universal link resolver directly in the browser without installing the app via an interactive demo track (Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up") at songflip.link/s/rickroll.
